SUCCESSFUL WHARTON PARKSUITES LAUNCH EXTENDS ANCHOR LAND’S WINNING STREAK
High-end developer Anchor Land Holdings, Inc. continues its winning ways in Manila’s Chinatown with its newest luxury condominium in the district, the 39-storey Wharton Parksuites, with buyers queuing up during the formal launching of the project and its elegant showroom at the site over the weekend. ALHI officials said Chinatown residents make up bulk of the early birds, many of whom have also purchased units from the company’s earlier projects in Binondo and who are well aware of Anchor Land’s track record of delivering high quality, luxury condominiums in time. “We are delighted by the warm response of our Chinatown friends to Wharton Parksuites. They are our continuing inspiration, and we shall do everything we can to live up to their very lofty expectations,” ALHI Vice Chairman Steve Li said. Li said the Wharton Parksuites is an ideal second home for those whose children are studying in the district, or for those who simply want to be in the center of a booming and dynamic cultural, educational, commercial and trading hub. Wharton Parksuites is located at the corner of busy Masangkay and La Torre streets, squarely in the middle of Binondo’s best learning institutions like the Chiang Kai Shek College, Hope Christian High School, Philippine Academy of Sakya, St. Stephen’s High School and its elementary department, and the Uno High School. Also nearby is the Metropolitan Hospital, as well as countless temples, shrines, churches, and even quaint street side altars that have made Binondo a uniquely Filipino-Chinese enclave. The entire seventh floor of Wharton Parksuites is dedicated to amenities like a function hall, fitness center, a kids’ playground, chess corner, exercise area, tai-chi area, a kiddie pool, two pocket gardens and lounge. In addition, the 7th floor offers unique amenities like a special room for yoga and meditation, a library, music room, and tutorial rooms that are all designed for learning and relaxation, as well as a very sporty 25m x 5m lap pool. On the ground floor, Wharton Parksuites will have a food express featuring both authentic Chinese and modern cuisine, a perfect place to bring friends and family for a sumptuous meal any time of the day. The Wharton Parksuites is the fourth project of Anchor Land Holdings in Binondo after the Lee Towers and Mandarin Square, both of which have been completed and turned over ahead of schedule, and the 56-storey Anchor Skysuites, which is set to become Chinatown’s tallest structure. Ms Elizabeth Ventura, Anchor Land’s Vice President for Sales and Marketing, said the inspiration for Wharton Parksuites is primarily learning, both formally and informally, a lasting legacy of Manila’s Chinatown. ![]() From young children learning their parents’ trade through daily exposure to the economic activities in the district, through wise and sage counsel handed down from generation to generation, Chinatown has become a veritable school of life for the country’s ethnic Chinese population through the centuries. “The tradition of nurturing young minds, of letting the young experience first hand how hard it is to earn money, thus providing them lessons to appreciate the value of hard work, is an ongoing concern of every Chinatown parent,” Ms Ventura said. “Wharton not only offers a roof over your head. We want to make sure that, inside and outside of your units, your children’s education are always at center stage. As such, we offer a mix of educational and entertainment amenities to make sure that their learning do not stop in school.” |
