Listed high-end developer Anchor Land Holdings, Inc. declared a cash dividend of P45 million, equivalent to 20 percent of its net profit for 2008. The dividend, at 13 centavos per share, is 160 percent higher than the previous year’s dividend of 5 centavos per share, and is based on the company’s net income of P236 million, from revenues of P136 billion, in 2008. As approved by Anchor Land’s Board of Directors during its meeting last June 24, stockholders of record as of July 8, 2009 shall be entitled to the cash dividend. Payment date is on August 3, 2009. “We committed to declare a cash dividend equivalent to 20 percent of our net income, and we are more than happy to honor this commitment,” ALHI vice chairman Steve Li said.
