Anchor Land Holdings, Inc.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange yesterday Anchor Land announced that its six month revenues reached P973.42 million or nearly 70 percent higher than a year ago. Real estate sales during the period reached P925.51 million drivin up profit

"We are in aa very strong position to surpass last year's earnings given the very healthy revenues and net income for the first half," Anchor Land chair Stephen Lee said "Our numbers only show that despite the economic crisis, the real estate sector remains as robust as ever."

The condominium developer expects to surpass or at least equal its 2008 revenues of of P1.36 billion
Lee said 2009 would likely see Anchor Land posting its third straight year of rising profitability since debuting on the stock exchange in 2007
